THE INVOLVEMENT OF IPLAN AS A COMPANY WITH THE 17 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
Lately, the concept of sustainable development and climate emergency are very present in our daily lives, and at Iplan we constantly promote this culture. This situation is due to the great need that we have as a society to carry out more favourable actions for our environment, so that climate change does not destroy our planet and its ecosystems, and we can eliminate poverty to achieve prosperity for everyone.
With the aim of moving towards this purpose, in 2015, 17 global goals were established with specific targets to be achieved over the next 15 years, giving rise to what we now call the “2030 Agenda”.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) focus on quality of life, health, education, and equality among people, while also proposing to care for our planet and its lives, promoting sustainability and responsible actions with our environment. It seeks the unity of the whole world to achieve peace and justice in all areas and, likewise, to fulfil the SDGs:
1.No Poverty, 2. Zero Hunger, 3. Good Health and Well-being, 4. Quality Education, 5. Gender Equality, 6. Clean Water and Sanitation, 7. Affordable and Clean Energy, 8. Decent Work and Economic Growth, 9. Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, 10. Reduced Inequalities, 11. Sustainable Cities and Communities, 12. Responsible Consumption and Production, 13. Climate Action, 14. Life Below Water, 15. Life on Land, 16. Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and 17. Partnerships for the Goals.
To achieve these goals that are on the sustainable development agenda, every action counts, whether it comes from public institutions, private companies, or every individual person.
