INVOLVED IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE, WE ARE ADAPTING THE TEMPERATURES OF OUR OFFICES TO NEW ENERGY-SAVING LIMITS
We are sharing the new temperature limits for enclosed spaces that have been established for each workstation in accordance with the new energy-saving law. This law came into effect last August and will remain in force until November 2023. After experiencing a severe heatwave in Spain, air conditioning has become an indispensable ally in workplaces this summer. The implementation of these new limits aims to reduce energy consumption, minimise environmental impact, and prevent health issues for staff caused by large temperature fluctuations between the outside and inside of buildings.
Many spaces will have to maintain a minimum temperature of 27°C for air conditioning and a maximum temperature of 19°C for heating. However, some exceptions may apply depending on the type of work being performed.
As a company committed to sustainable development, we have already put these regulations into practice to support the energy transition and fight against climate change. We have adapted the limits to the work of our team.
We will follow the general regulations, with the exception of the summer season. During this time, we will be able to establish a minimum temperature of 25ºC, which is suitable for the technical staff at Iplan who alternate between working inside and outside the office and perform heavier tasks.
Let’s take care of the environment with small actions.
