NEW BOE UPDATE
Royal Decree-Law 6/2022, of March 29, which adopts urgent measures within the framework of the National Plan to respond to the economic and social consequences of the war in Ukraine, was published in the BOE on March 31, with entry on April 1, 2022.
Chapter III of this provision includes measures to speed up the processing of renewable energy projects to accelerate decarbonisation and reduce energy dependence.
It establishes a procedure for determining the environmental condition for renewable energy projects with temporary validity, applicable to the sphere of state competence, which can also be applied by the autonomous communities within their sphere of competence.
Very significantly reduces and shortens the environmental processing periods of renewable energy projects.
