ELECTRIC INTERCONNECTION SPAIN-FRANCE. SANTA LLOGAIA UNDERGROUND LINE- FRENCH BORDER

Iplan has managed both the legalization and expropriation for the commissioning of the electrical interconnection between France and Spain. That project has been stated as European interest and a worldwide pioneering work that has allowed to double the electricity exchange capacity between both countries, resulting in greater security and stability in both electrical systems.

The project has affected 11 municipalities and more than 300 land properties, with a previous procedure for prior administrative authorization and construction authorization, public utility statement, expropriation, and registration in the Land Registry of the electric power right of way.
